| | The Netra ft 1800 server is built on dual four-processor UltraSPARC chip sets and leverages the technology used in the Sun Enterprise 450 server. The system provides a 300MHz CPU and 4 Gbytes of memory, as well as a NEBS-certified rack mount package, enabling telecom carriers to enclose the system in multiple racks from a variety of providers.
The Netra ft 1800 features front loading components to ease system maintenance, and provides 16 PCI and 12 SCSI slots, as well as four CD and DAT slots. The Netra ft 1800 augments Sun's previously announced Netra t line of NEBS Level 3-certified simplex servers.
