UltraSPARC T1
32 Threads in 2 Square Inches

The UltraSPARC T1 processor with CoolThreads technology is the highest-throughput and most eco-responsible processor ever created. It\'s a breakthrough discovery for reducing data center energy consumption, while dramatically increasing throughput. Its 32 simultaneous processing threads, drawing about as much power as a light bulb, give you the best performance per watt of any processor available.

UltraSPARC T2

The UltraSPARC T2 processor is the industry\'s first \"system on a chip,\" packing the most cores and threads of any general-purpose processor available, and integrating all the key functions of a server on a single chip: computing, networking, security, and input/output (I/O), plus tight integration with the Solaris operating system.

UltraSPARC IV+

Sun\'s new UltraSPARC IV+ 64-bit processor is the fifth generation in our UltraSPARC processor family. It comes with significantly enhanced cores, 2 MB on-chip L2 cache, and an off-chip 32 MB L3 cache. The new 1.95 GHz and 2.1 GHz processors follows Sun\'s. Throughput Computing vision while continuing the tradition of binary code compatibility—and uses the latest 90 nanometer process technology.

UltraSPARC III

Leveraging the core technologies from Sun\'s flagship UltraSPARC III processor, the UltraSPARC IIIi processor was designed for real-world application performance, improved cost efficiency and robust RAS features. This microprocessor powers systems used in applications such as web servers, application servers, CAD/CAM and high performance technical computing.
