Details
Quad FastEthernet PCI Card (QFE) Quad FastEthernet is a high performance, high density network interface card. QFE provides immediate increase in bandwidth to the user in the PCI interface format.

Sun Quad FastEthernet (QFE/P). This card has 4 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ports. The minimum OS is Solaris 2.5.1 HW: 4/97 and Quad FastEthernet 2.0. Solaris 2.6 requires QuadFastEthernet 2.1. One CPU per port is recommended for maximum throughput. Two CPUs per QFE/P are recommended for systems with >=200MHz processors. Auto-negotiation is used to select operating mode and speed.
