Linksys One is a complete, affordable, easy-to-install communications solution for growing businesses, delivering telephones, data networking, applications, and the Internet through one high-speed connection from a single provider. Business class communications services are delivered by a Linksys One Services Router, which requires only one Internet connection for all services - including low-cost phone service. A Linksys One Services Router is the core for your network and must be present in all Linksys One solutions. The PHM1200 is the premier wired IP telephone of the Linksys One solution. The Linksys One PHM1200 IP telephone look and works like a key system phone, but it will also connect to the Internet - not a telephone line - and it will be very easy and cost-effective to deploy. Linksys One technology is automatic and self-configuring - plug in a Linksys One phone to the Linksys One Services Router switch port and you'll be ready to make and receive calls using business quality Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). You'll also get advanced features and ease of use. A planned applications programming interface will eventually allow applications to be hosted on the phones either local to the business site or delivered as a component of a hosted service. But there's no need to wait - today's Linksys One IP phones have all useful features of most popular key sets and can save you money, starting now. The Linksys One PHM1200 IP telephone delivers both traditional telephony services to the small business user such as call forwarding, transfer, busy lamp field and shared line appearances on a next-generation IP phone platform. This platform contains a high-resolution (320 X 240 X 16 bit) color, backlit display; 24 programmable buttons with integrated LEDs, 4 softkeys, 3 fixed function keys and a 5-position navigation key. An integrated dual-port 10/100 switch provides wired network access through the upstream Ethernet port. This port is capable of accepting IEEE POE and fully powering the phone under all operational conditions. The PHM1200 must be connected to a Linksys One-enabled switch port.
