It is necessary to install a low pass filter to block the higher frequency channels used to deliver DSL services for every telephone or POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) device that shares the line with the ADSL equipment. The DSL-24MF in-line ADSL microfilter easily connects to any telephone, G3 fax machine, answering machine and other POTS devices through an RJ-11 phoneline connector. The other RJ-11 connector on the DSL-24MF connects to a wall socket. No configuration is needed.
