This page contains instructions for saving router configurations, and copying router configurations to the routers via tftp. Since the routers may be in an unknown state at the start of your session, it is recommended that you do the following at the start of your session:

Clear existing router configuration

Restart (reload) the router

If you have an existing configuration you wish to load into the router, you may do one of the following:

- Cut and paste the configuration into the router via your terminal emulation client software (telnet or ssh).

- Copy the config to the router directly via tftp.
